200 International District units ready for next review

Next week, the International Special Review District Board will again consider the proposed apartments for the Bush Garden corner, at 614 Maynard Ave. S. At last summer's presentation, landowner and developer Vibrant Cities argued that the vacant old building is too structurally compromised to be saved. The ISRD board has evidently agreed. A neighboring warehouse is also bound for demolition. Tuesday's fifth presentation, in a virtual meeting, will consider a revised design that no longer preserves the original Bush Garden facade.
