SEATTLE — Last May, lender Ascent Capital foreclosed on a development site at 5022 Martin Luther King Jr. Way S. It paid a bit over $2.2 million for the vacant 16,807-squre-foot midblock property, which Build Urban had previously intended to develop.
Now Kidder Mathews is offering the land, for nearly $1.8 million, and there's a new plan from a prospective buyer. JW Architects submitted a very vague apartment plan for Habitat for Humanity Seattle-King County. The number of units and dimensions aren't listed; the site is zoned LR3 RC (M), which would probably allow four stories and 100 units, per the brokers. Those are Dylan Simon and Max Frame.
