Everett industrial project headed toward final permits

The site is on Smith Island, which is home to both wetlands and light industrial use.

The city of Everett says it expects to issue a SEPA determination of non-significance for an industrial project brewing at 3807 28th Place N.E. That’s about 17 acres of vacant land on Smith Island, tucked between Union Slough and, to the west, Highway 529. The nearest waypoint to the north is Builders FirstSource, in an area west of Interstate 5.
