Sloop in rough waters after sale

By JOURNAL STAFF

SEATTLE — The Sloop Tavern property in Ballard, at 2830 N.W. Market St., sold last week for nearly $2.5 million, according to King County records. The sale also included a vacant former smoke shop next door.

The buyer was 28 Market LLC, which is associated with local investor the Horn family. No new plans have been filed.
