165 affordable senior housing units enter design review in Kirkland

As the DJC first reported last month, TWG Development is planning to buy an over 2.5-acre Kirkland property at 12700 116th Ave. N.E., then develop an affordable senior housing project. The Totem Lake plan will have its first design review, in a virtual meeting, for what's called Ardea. That's a reference to Ardea herodias, the Latin name for a great blue heron.
