Duke Realty has, in a relatively short time here, amassed some 4 million square feet of logistics space. All of that is now leased, says the REIT, which has its headquarters in Indianapolis. This month Duke announced that it's relocating its local office from Capitol Hill down to Georgetown. Its new home will be in what most would call the Original Rainier Brewery, using 5628 Airport Way S. as its address in that historic four-building complex. Mark Hosfeld leads Duke's local operations. He said in a statement, “Our new office is close to downtown, while providing access to major thoroughfares, so we can easily commute to our industrial spaces in the city's submarkets. Meantime, we are laser-focused on growing our footprint in the Pacific Northwest through acquisitions and development opportunities.” Duke is in the north end of the sprawling Rainier complex, roughly opposite Georgetown Ballroom.
