3-story houseboat sells for $3.6M

SEATTLE — The Seattle PI reports the sale of an iconic house boat on South Lake Union for a record-breaking $3.6 million. This is the most expensive houseboat sale in Seattle's history.

The 4,850-square-foot property, named The Aurora House Boat, is the largest floating home on the lake. The house boat is three stories and has three bedrooms, 3.25 bathrooms, a large kitchen, a theater and wet bar. It is designed in the craftsmen style.
