Southeast Effective Development, or SEED, has been gradually developing its 7-acre Rainier Court property, where its 208-unit Courtland Place was first to rise there, in 2005. (That's senior housing.) Three more apartment buildings have followed, for a total of some 550 affordable units to date. The most recent was Spokane at Rainier Court, which opened its 81 units two years ago.
Now Johnson Braund has filed the early plan for what's currently dubbed Rainier Court V, to go on a bare patch of land at 3603 35th Ave. S. (That's directly east of the Spokane building.) It will be the final component under SEED's approved master plan.
