Extended-stay hotel sells for almost $60M, will flip to apartments

The hotel is just uphill from the convention center and I-5.

A Homewood Suites by Hilton, at 1011 Pike St., sold last week for a little over $59.9 million, according to King County records. That's allowing for an over $20 million personal property deduction, from the $80 million topline figure, since the deal includes all the hotel's contents.
