Lowe's plan for 400 units in Mount Baker takes shape

Looking west, the elevated light rail tracks would be quite prominent to tenants on the east side of the unnamed development.

The nearly 2-acre assemblage at 3211 Martin Luther King Jr. Way S. hasn't yet sold, but prospective buyer Lowe is getting ready for its first design review with Ankrom Moisan Architects. A few steps south of Mount Baker Station, their plan is for a six-story, 400-unit apartment project — also to include retail and underground parking.
