The late-pandemic news isn't all bad for ground-level retail and restaurants. While Pioneer Square and the central business district can be bleak, South Lake Union and the Denny Triangle will get a boost from four new tenants that Amazon has announced for three of its buildings. Expected to open in the coming months are Mainstay Provisions, expanding from Phinney Ridge, in the fairly new Frontier building; Kathmandu MoMoCha — currently a food truck operation — and Salon Voda in the old Rufus building in SLU; and Manna, which will fill a vacant space at the Cricket building, also in SLU.
