Ecology OKs cleanup plan for 202 ID units, with second polluted site in play in Skyway

701 Jackson is one of two projects with cleanup plans that Ecology has endorsed.

For well over a year, OZ Navigator and landowner the Mar family have been planning to redevelop the latter's polluted former gas station property at 701 S. Jackson St. in the International District. That midrise apartment plan, designed by Neiman Taber Architects, can't begin until the state Department of Ecology first approves the environmental remediation plan.
