SEATTLE — A small old duplex at 606 Aloha St. sold six years ago to a local investor. Not long after that sale, for under $1 million, there emerged a five-story, 24-unit redevelopment plan from CHC Architects.
That passed relatively swiftly through administrative design review, under the old zoning. However, it was snagged by the implementation of Mandatory Housing Affordability in Lower Queen Anne, which came in 2017.
