Anacortes motel will flip to 38 apartments

ANACORTES — The Islands Inn, at 3401 Commercial Ave. in Anacortes, sold for $2.7 million, according to the buyers, PH Development and Jones Development.

They also announced a plan to convert the motel into 38 studio and one-bedroom rental units. Work will begin this month, with completion next spring.
