Carmel opens its 171-unit Ballard Yards

Now using a slightly different address at 2417 N.W. Market St., the seven-story, 171-unit Ballard Yards opened to renters in July. Carmel Partners of San Diego developed and built the project, with VIA – A Perkins Eastman Studio as the designer. It replaced the old Ballard Transfer property, which Carmel acquired four years ago for over $11.7 million. Construction began in the summer of 2020.
