38 Fremont units ready for renters, with possible restaurant

The new building is a short walk east to central Fremont.

The new 38-unit Waterway Building apartments are now leasing at 106 N. 36th St. in Fremont. The project received its temporary certificate of occupancy in late June. Rudd Development served as its own builder, beginning the project in early 2020. Waterway replaced the old Tacos Guaymas, on the corner of First Avenue Northwest, which closed sometime before the 2017 land sale.
