UPS gains approval for new Lynnwood distribution center

The L-shaped building, designed by 541 Architecture, and parking will occupy about half the property.

Five years ago, UPS paid $15 million for a nearly 11-acre expanse of vacant land in Lynnwood, once home to a scrap yard. Planning began last December for a new 52,350-square-foot distribution center, to which the city has assigned the address of 18100 Highway 99 (aka state Route 99, aka Pacific Highway South). That's near several car dealerships, including Tesla.
