Record-setting mass timber building tops out on Capitol Hill

The last CLT panels were placed at Heartwood Dec. 14.

It appears to be topping-out season in Seattle. Following the topping out of The Jack last week in Pioneer Square, yesterday crews from Swinerton topped out on Heartwood, a new eight-story 66,000-square-foot workforce/middle-income housing development on Capitol Hill.
