Three very experienced brokers have jumped ship to join CBRE, the latter announced last week. The trio is particularly strong in life science. Chris Moe, previously with Kidder Mathews, and Hans Kemp join as executive VPs, and Austin Arper becomes a first VP. The latter and Kemp make the move from Flinn Ferguson. CBRE's John R. Miller said in a statement, “The life sciences sector is one of the Puget Sound region's fastest-growing property types, and these professionals have been the top players in the sector for 20 years. Chris, Hans and Austin merging their practices and adding the breadth and depth of CBRE's global platform to support them creates an unmatched combination in our market.” Citing its in-house research, CBRE says Seattle's third-quarter vacancy rate for life science is just under 7%. It also that 15 unnamed life-science tenants are now seeking 400,000 square feet in that sector
