Mixed-use plan proposed in Kent

KENT — Two years ago, a property at 10312 S.E. 248th St. traded for $1.3 million to Seacan Enterprises LLC. There are currently two old houses on about 2 acres, on the corner of 104th Avenue Southeast. That's in the East Hill neighborhood.

Now Seacan is planning a two-story building dubbed Aria Plaza, with CDA + Pirscher Architects in charge of the design. The city of Kent recently deemed that its permit application was complete, with the public comment period to end Jan. 13.
