New senior housing to replace the old in Juanita

The site is steps from the Juanita Village shopping center and lakeshore park.

Transforming Age owns Parkshore at Juanita Bay, a 49-unit senior community in Kirkland, which dates to 1977. Now there's a plan from VIA Architecture (a Perkins Eastman Studio) to scrape and redevelop the property at 11853 97th Ave. N.E. in Kirkland . That proposal has its first design review today, in a virtual presentation.
