120 Capitol Hill units planned next to landmarked La Quinta

The new building will rise behind, to the north, its Spanish mission-style companion.

Designed and developed by Frederick Anhalt in 1926, the 13-unit La Quinta was landmarked two years back, prior to its $4.2 million sale to DEP Holdings I LLC. Now, with architect SHW, DEP has filed a 120-unit apartment plan at 1710 E. Denny Way. The shared Capitol Hill address is a little misleading, and may change.
