Bellevue gets into the SEDU game

Apartments in Bellevue, old and new, tend to run larger than in Seattle. And that's one reason why east King County's average rents are 14% higher than in Seattle, per Kidder Mathews.

In its recent first-quarter multifamily report, $2,350 is the average for all of east King County. But that number starts much higher in Bellevue, Kirkland and Redmond, of course, then tapers the farther east you move. (KM casts its net all the way to North Bend and Duvall.)
