GLY starts work on 12-story U District Station Building

Construction will last about two years before UW staffers can occupy the building.

After years of planning, the master use permit came in January for what's generally called the U District Station Building, since it'll sit on top of that eponymous light rail stop. And in recent weeks, GLY Construction began doing some early ground work at 4328 Brooklyn Ave. N.E. , where the 12-story Perkins Will-designed office tower will rise.
