Plan for 87 West Seattle units still alive, but slow

There’s no sign yet of any demolition or construction permits for the project.

The longtime family owner of two old West Seattle rental houses at 3010 S.W. Avalon Way is working with Studio19 Architects on a redevelopment plan. The proposed eight-story, 87-unit replacement building had its last design review in the fall of 2021. Another review seems likely, though not yet scheduled. But the architect recently applied for a master use permit, so the project is evidently still alive.
