Former funeral parlor hits the market on Capitol Hill

Save it or scrape it? That decision will be left to a future owner.

As demand for their services steadily declines, in-city funeral parlors are generally scraped after they sell, with new apartments soon to follow. But the former Butterworth Funeral Home, at 300 E. Pine St. on Capitol Hill , might be an exception to that trend.
