Auburn logistics project nears start

AUBURN — As the DJC first reported last fall, Vector Development is planning a new industrial building dubbed Emerald Logistics. With frequent partner Carlyle Group, it has assembled the land at 6220 S. 287th St., which spans about 16 acres. Synthesis is the architect, and Pennon will be the builder.

The city of Auburn announced last week that Vector's permit application is complete. It also issued a SEPA determination of non-significance for the 192,844-square-foot building, which will employ concrete tilt-up construction. The public comment period ends May 5.
