A SEDU plan at 9025 46th Ave. S., near Rainier Beach Station, had seemed swiftly bound for a master use permit. The five-story proposal from Caron Architecture first appeared in 2020, and passed through design review last year. But then the neighbors appealed to the city Hearing Examiner. However, no hearing was ever conducted, and the complaints were evidently dropped. The MUP followed in October.
