24 Capitol Hill units nearing MUP

The corner is a few steps away from the Kaiser Permanente campus and a Safeway.

Five years back, a Bellevue investor purchased a small 11-unit apartment building on Capitol Hill, with the intent of redeveloping. The pandemic may have slowed the plan for the corner at 1410 E. Howell St., but the five-story, 24-unit project now seems close to a master use permit. The owner, Brocade Investment Group, recently secured a tenant relocation license from the city, though there's no sign yet of a demolition permit.
