An Aug. 31 auction date does give the owners a few months to find new financing.

Plans seem to have stalled last year for the apartments proposed at 7001 15th Ave. N.W. in Ballard. That's the corner site many associate with Grumpy D's Coffee, now closed. Vivia Group of Seattle is the developer, on behalf of a Bend, Oregon, investor group.
