Simon declares official start for Residence Inn at Northgate Station

The DJC reported last month that preliminary groundwork had begun at Northgate Station on the planned new Residence Inn by Marriott. Now Simon Property Group has made it official. It announced the formal groundbreaking at 10600 First Ave. N.E., on the west side of the mixed-use campus, which is being redeveloped in phases. It's the first of two planned hotels.
