W.G. Clark to build 263 Rainier Valley units

There's a demolition permit in place for a long-vacant former retail and restaurant property in the Rainier Valley. The city has also approved plans to subdivide the 2.3 acres. Two apartment buildings are planned: north, from Community Roots Housing, which is on a slower schedule; and south, from Lake Union Partners, which has an administrative design review tomorrow. That plan is now quite detailed.
