Kimco plans modest changes for Marketplace at Factoria

Looking northwest, the new street would connect two large parking lots on opposite sides of the 43-acre mall.

Since acquiring what's now the Marketplace at Factoria, back in 2004, Kimco has contemplated various redevelopment schemes. A hotel and apartment buildings have been floated in the past, but the Great Recession and then COVID-19 have preempted such plans.
