Fatal fire at site of planned 74 U District units

Seattle Fire Department extinguished the blaze quickly. The body was discovered later in the day, and the victim had been seen on the roof of the burning structure.

Two nearby University District apartment projects, both from the same developer, were put on the market about two years back. No one reached for their wallet. Now the north project, at 1400 N.E. 55th St., may finally have found a buyer.
