Construction starts on 71 Eastlake units

Some units will have views of Interstate 5; others will look west to Lake Union.

Congregates get no love. But such affordable, small-unit rental projects provide workforce housing when and where we need it most. So the onset of construction at 2335 Boylston Ave. E., on a 71-unit congregate project, is both minor and significant. Demolition and early groundwork began this month under Calhoun Property Management, related building arm Regio LLC and Hybrid Architecture.
