Toyoda Sushi offers new Lake City plan

SEATTLE — Four years ago, the family owners of Toyoda Sushi floated an eight-story condo plan that would also include a new restaurant at 12543 Lake City Way N.E. That proposal never entered design review.

Now there's a smaller new plan from Lien Nishiwaki Architects. Instead of a new and very long, skinny building, here the existing restaurant would remain. Then, a separate new west building would rise six stories, with four apartments — one per floor — above an office level and structured parking.
