Cedars replacement building in U District gains detail

Looking roughly north, Brooklyn is at right, and the pocket park at left.

There are three components to the latest University District plan from architect GGLO and Core Spaces, a specialist in student housing. On what most would call the former Walgreens and longtime Cedars restaurant properties, there's to be a 25-story west tower, a pocket park and a five-story east companion building.
