Roosevelt corner back on market, modules not included

The bookshop is long gone, of course, and only two tenants remain in the corner complex.

If it was ever under contract to sell, such an agreement has apparently expired for the prime corner development site at 6500 Roosevelt Ave. N.E. What some might remember as the East West Books complex is a few steps west of Roosevelt Station. There, Sustainable Living Solutions has been planning a nine-story apartment building to employ its patented “kit of parts” construction method. No master use permit has been issued, and that proposal has been dormant since January.
