179 Tacoma units planned near mall

TACOMA — Back in December, an office building at 4218 S. Steele St., near Tacoma Mall, sold for $6.5 million. New owner Pahlisch Commercial had by then already initiated a seven-story apartment plan, which is now slated to begin next year.

Pahlisch will be the builder, and Studio Meng Strazzara is the architect.
