121 Capitol Hill units proposed

SEATTLE — Over past decades, a small handful of investors has assembled a 21,692-square-foot development site at 600 Broadway E. That's on Capitol Hill, on the corner of East Mercer Street. The bar Bait Shop is your best point of reference.

Whether the owners intend to sell, or self-develop a proposed new apartment building, isn't yet clear. But architect Studio Meng Strazzara recently filed a new six-story, 121-unit plan. It carries a nominal value of $20 million, and hasn't yet entered design review.
