After $7M land sale, Compton Lumber to build new Renton home

The tilt-up concrete structure should take about a year to complete.

For a few years now, Compton Lumber has been planning a new facility in Renton, where it relocated after selling its old SoDo home. It's presently operating out of some rented old buildings, eventually to be razed, at 2940 E. Valley Road in Renton.
