DESC acquires Lake City site

SEATTLE — As planned, Downtown Emergency Service Center has acquired a former auto-sales lot in Lake City, where it's proposing a 120-unit supportive housing project.

King County recorded the $6.5 million sale last week. The seller at 12051 Lake City Way N.E. was Hynes Holdings LLC, which had owned the property for decades. Brokers were not announced for a land sale worth about $156 per square foot.
