McDonald's to return near Seattle Center

SEATTLE — Just west of Seattle Center, LPC West's new life-science building is rising on the corner where a McDonald's stood for 50 years. The Golden Arches closed there in early 2022, before construction began.

But, as the DJC reported that summer, the fast-food eatery was plotting its return to nearby KOMO Plaza, at 140 Fourth Ave., opposite the Space Needle. And, indeed, signs in the window now confirm the McDonald's plan.
