Cheers changes hands for $2.2M

By JOURNAL STAFF

RENTON — The venerable sports bar Cheers, at 201 Williams St., sold last week for $2.2 million, according to King County records. The seller was Kashi 201 Williams, which acquired the then vacant building in 2015 for over $1.1 million.

The buyer was Selfoss LLC, which is associated with married local investors. Public records indicate a loan from US Bank.
