Seattle, meet Meat Moot

SEATTLE — When it opened in 2017, the new Kai Market was an anchor tenant in the food hall at 400 Fairview Ave. N. The building, developed by Skanska USA, was then fairly new. It sold in 2018 to Pembroke Real Estate for $338 million; then came the pandemic.

Kai Market, a venture of Uwajimaya, closed at some point in recent months (or years), and First Western Properties has been offering its 5,582 square feet for sublease.
