JLL lands nearly $12M for Ballard units

Belotti + McHugh began building a 54-unit Ballard apartment project in the spring of 2021. The four-story J.G. Whittier apartments opened last year at 7750 15th Ave. N.W. Lake Union Partners and Johnston Architects originated the project, which then sold before construction to an Issaquah family ownership group. Now JLL has announced an over $11.8 million refinancing package for the project. Its Seth Heikkila and Steve Petrie secured the five-year, fixed-rate loan from National Life Group. Units range from studios to two-bedrooms; tenants also have 27 structured parking stalls and a roof deck. Nearly 3,000 square feet of retail/commercial space remains on offer, with the brokers being Gibraltar and Orion Commercial Partners.
