Townhouses set for Rose Hill site

KIRKLAND — MainStreet Property Group acquired the old Rose Hill Village, at 12631 N.E. 85th St. in Kirkland, at the very end of 2021. For a while, working with architect Gensler, there was a conceptual plan to replace the old 3.4-acre shopping center with a 574,795-square-foot office project dubbed the Kirkland Technology Center. That plan never entered design review.

More recently, a 96-unit townhouse plan has emerged in its stead. There may also be a subdivision into two or three new parcels near the corner of 128th Avenue Northeast.
