Looking southeast, commercial space will face a small plaza beneath the overpass.

A small, unreported land sale in December completed the assemblage for an apartment site at 3111 Rainier Ave. S. (The first sale was in 2019.) A few old retail buildings have already been demolished from the prominent, triangular block, just south of Mount Baker Station.
