Monorail-facing hotel, near Seattle Center, takes shape

This view looks roughly east down Denny Way.

Unlike the Fat City building today, the monorail will run past a planned replacement hotel at 508 Denny Way, and not over that new structure. Da Li Development and architect Weber Thompson are proposing a 15-story, 170-room building, which will have its first design review on Feb. 28.
