Kirkland seeks housing plan for Houghton Village redevelopment

The city also wants the master plan to include the east and west neighbors (purple), but those would be possible future private efforts.

As the first DJC reported nearly two years ago, the city of Kirkland then acquired the Houghton Village shopping center with the goal of developing mixed-income apartments there.
